The Longhorn Rancher we work with only offers ten Longhorn Head Mounts a year. His taxidermist does all of the work for Bass Pro Shops, so you know this is the finest taxidermy you'll find anywhere.  When he announces he has a Longhorn Steer head for sell, it usually sells within 30 minutes (he has a waiting list at all times of at least 200 people).

If you are looking for a specific color, mottling, tip to tip horn spread, let us know and we will let our Rancher know to notify us first (which he's done often in the past). 

As we sell a mount, the status will show as "Backorder." We're keeping the pictures up so you will have an idea of the quality steer mounts we have to offer and the price they have sold for. Don't hesitate to contact us if all of the items are showing Out of Stock - that doesn't mean there aren't any for sale...we're just waiting for the next Longhorn mount to become available. It is also possible that one may be showing as "In Stock," but our rancher has sold it himself...that's why communication is the key in finding you the perfect head mount for your needs!
